The Gulf Coast has no shortage of beautiful settings, but catching a live 80s show inside one of the most refined resort properties on the Florida coastline is its own kind of evening. Kids In America is coming to The Ritz-Carlton, Naples on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, and the contrast between that polished beachfront elegance and a room full of people singing along to Bon Jovi is exactly the kind of night worth putting on the calendar.
This is a six-piece band doing the full decade live, no shortcuts, no backing tracks. From synth-driven new wave to hair metal anthems to pop that ruled every radio dial from 1980 to 1989, they bring the whole era in real time. If you grew up with this music, or you just know every word to half of it, the room tends to feel like one big communal memory.

About Kids In America
Kids In America is a six-piece 80s cover band built on years of live experience and a shared commitment to recreating the decade exactly as it sounded. Shannon Remley and Ray Hartsfield handle female and male lead vocals. Shannon’s powerhouse vocals and energy along with Ray’s charisma and showmanship make for the ultimate male-female lead vocal combo upfront. Roey Haviv plays bass guitar and bass synth, GK Via covers lead guitar and lead and background vocals, Rob Bowser on keyboards and synths, and Mike Graci handles drums and electronic percussion. This 6 piece very talented band plays everything live with no tracks, covering pop, hair metal, new wave, hip hop and dance with the kind of precision and accuracy that comes from over a thousand shows for just over a decade.
What You Will Hear
Expect the kind of night where you might hear “Don’t Stop Believin'” build toward that chorus the whole room knows, or “Livin’ on a Prayer” pull everyone in around the second verse. The setlist draws from every corner of the decade, so you might also get “Take On Me,” “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “Like a Prayer,” “Thriller,” or “Jump.” The band covers the full range, from synth-pop and new wave to arena rock and early hip hop, so the night moves in ways that keep the floor engaged from start to finish.
