Sunday night at 158 on Main means neon reflections in cocktail glasses and a six-piece band that treats every synth line and guitar solo like the original recording matters. Kids In America rolls into Mooresville with a setlist that moves from arena rock to dance-floor hip hop without a single backing track, and if you grew up recording Casey Kasem countdowns on cassette, this is your room.
The show lands on February 22nd at a venue built for live sound and craft drinks, and the band has spent over a decade making sure the decade sounds right.

About Kids In America
Kids In America is a six-piece 80s cover band built on years of live experience and a shared commitment to recreating the decade exactly as it sounded. Shannon Remley and Ray Hartsfield handle female and male lead vocals. Shannon’s powerhouse vocals and energy along with Ray’s charisma and showmanship make for the ultimate male-female lead vocal combo upfront. Roey Haviv plays bass guitar and bass synth, GK Via covers lead guitar and lead and background vocals, Rob Bowser on keyboards and synths, and Mike Graci handles drums and electronic percussion. This 6 piece very talented band plays everything live with no tracks, covering pop, hair metal, new wave, hip hop and dance with the kind of precision and accuracy that comes from over a thousand shows for just over a decade.
What You Will Hear
Expect the kind of night where you might hear “Livin’ on a Prayer” crash into “Push It,” or “Take On Me” followed by “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” The band pulls from pop anthems like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” guitar-driven hits like “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Jessie’s Girl,” and dance tracks like “Walking on Sunshine” and “Love Shack.” If you want Prince, Bon Jovi, Madonna, and Guns N’ Roses in the same two hours, this is how you get it.
