80s Cover Band in Fountain Inn, SC – July 10, 2026

Friday evening in Fountain Inn, a small South Carolina town pulls off something most cities struggle to do: it builds a genuine summer ritual around live music and community. The Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Commerce Park has become the kind of weekly gathering people actually show up for, lawn chairs in tow, ready to let the evening unspool at its own pace. On July 10th, that gathering gets a serious shot of neon.

Kids In America is coming to Commerce Park for one Friday night of full-catalog 80s music, performed live by six musicians who have spent more than a decade putting in the work. No shortcuts, no tracks running in the background. Just a real band playing the songs that defined a decade, outdoors, under the summer sky. Bring the family. Claim your spot early.

About Kids In America

Kids In America is a six-piece 80s cover band built on years of live experience and a shared commitment to recreating the decade exactly as it sounded. Shannon Remley and Ray Hartsfield handle female and male lead vocals. Shannon’s powerhouse vocals and energy along with Ray’s charisma and showmanship make for the ultimate male-female lead vocal combo upfront. Roey Haviv plays bass guitar and bass synth, GK Via covers lead guitar and lead and background vocals, Rob Bowser on keyboards and synths, and Mike Graci handles drums and electronic percussion. This 6 piece very talented band plays everything live with no tracks, covering pop, hair metal, new wave, hip hop and dance with the kind of precision and accuracy that comes from over a thousand shows for just over a decade.

What You Will Hear

Expect the kind of night where you might hear “Don’t Stop Believin'” rising over the park just as the sky starts to turn, or the opening synth line of “Take On Me” cutting through the summer air. Kids In America pulls from the full width of the decade, so the set could move from “Livin’ on a Prayer” to “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” to “Thriller” without losing a beat. Songs like “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” “Walking on Sunshine,” “Jump,” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me” are all part of the catalog these six musicians know cold. The mix covers pop, hair metal, new wave, and dance, which means the crowd tends to stay on its feet.
